7.3l Turbo Diesel Cold Start At 25*f


this is a cold start of my new truck.

    I started mine at around 29 degrees. It ran a little rough at first, but sounded normal after a bit. Mine is a completely stock 95 ford 350 powerstroke.

    25* i see… yeah, it sounds like one cylinder isn’t quite as hot as it should be…id check the glow plugs and UVCH and glow plug relay…

    it’s just because it’s a cold start. once it warms up, it runs fine. that thing started right up though, not bad for a diesel in 25* weatther. :)

    what temp are you starting at…sounds like you have a cylinder that is running cold… glow plugs in good shape?
